The lexical whirlpool of keeping syntax colouring sane. A regex for extracting the DOI body is \b(10[.][0-9]{4,}(?:[.][0-9]+)*/(?:(?![\"&\'])\S)+)\b
Including escaped quotes. For python regex it's normal to prefix with r as the string is processed as raw.
